I got a lucky shot.

Been shooting for about 6 months or so. Practing at the range using an NRA 25 Yd slow-fire pistol target. Firing at 25 yards I managed to hit one dead center from my Glock 19.

Of course my other 20 shots or so didn't get the bulls-eye and some went off the page.

Might help you out

I tried my glock 17 out in the back yard the other day, only 2 shots at a dead tree about 20 yards away, didn't hit it. My gal hit it with one and it was her first time using a pistol, go figure :tongue_ma:

I'm not totally comfortable with shooting out back, although I don't see rocks and I'm shooting into the hill toward my house, I'm still not sure if its a good spot to practice (probably better than down hill toward the river, rocks, and other homes a few hundred yards out). I've been hearing gunshots all day, I went out back with my binocs and saw some guy using a rifle at about 100 yards on his property. I think he saw me watching him shoot though so he waited for me to leave, I don't blame him though. Not trying to be nosy, just looking for a shooting buddy in my new town :D

Where do you shoot platinumdude?

Glock accuracy is all about trigger control...

If you are having trouble pulling low and left (for right handed shooter) try using finger tip instead of knuckle on the trigger...

Also, try laying weak-hand index finger along side frame pointing downrange...

And smooth pull--not stabbing--the trigger...

All of the above should help you keep the muzzle from being pulled off the target...

Here is a correction target that might help as well: OOPS, MR. JONES BEAT ME TO IT!

Yes some of my other shots went left a little. I guess I will try putting more meat on the trigger. Shooting a 1 and 1/4 inch circle dead on from 25 yards had a good feeling. But I here the tournament people do it all the time, but with laser sights, I think.
